Nelson Menendez
Girls Program Director
Coach Menendez is our Director of Girls Soccer and also our dedicated goalkeeper coach who helps our goalkeepers from all teams improve their skills. Nelson has over 24 years of coaching experience in Orange County and is a member of the goalkeeping staff in the Olympic Development Program (ODP).

Mark Dace

Growing up in England Mark played soccer from a young age, when he moved to the US he played High School soccer winning CIF.
Mark started young as a goalkeeper coach and went on to coach both his sons in AYSO for 12 years and then moving to elite soccer coaching with MVFC since 2020.

Coach Hill has his USSF Grassroots license and has been coaching for 10+ years across multiple age groups. Growing up in England as a goalkeeper coach Hill played through High School and in the mens league in England.

Tyler Oakson
EA Teams Assistant Coach
Coach Oakson joined MVFC in 2023 as an assistant coach to all EA teams focusing on skills and fitness development. Currently coach Oakson is continuing his soccer career as a college soccer player at Concordia University Irvine where he puts his years of experience playing center back, defensive/attacking midfield, and forward to test at the highest level. This wide ranging experience at multiple positions works to our advantage as he am equipped to coach a larger scope of players in different positions.
